Tuesday- Continue environmental mystery -- sediment readings Wednesday- Guest speaker (Johnny Eakins from Springfield City Utilities) Con't working on sediment files w/ questions in notebook. Thursday- Guest speaker (Johnny Eakins from Springfield CIty Utilities) Con't working on sediment files w/ questions in notebook. Friday- Environmental Mystery continuation with Mountain Lion hunting eval. Wednesday- Finish the Daphnia lab. Students must analyze data and write a conclusion.

Tuesday- Finish the carbon cycle diagram and cut-outs. Review over the carbon cycle process. Wednesday- Adaptations. Students will choose an organism & research about its adaptations. They will put their information on a slide. Thursday- Presentation of adaptations Friday- Review for iAssignment and take quiz! Monday- Students will rotate at lab stations to research, write, illustrate, organize, and read about food webs.
Tuesday- Students will illustrate, color, and cut out a diagram to make a 3-D model of an energy pyramid Wednesday- Students will identify trophic levels and practice creating an energy pyramid from the food web made in class. Thursday- iAssignment over food webs and energy pyramids. Students can begin the lesson on Carbon Cycle (google classroom) Friday- 1/2 day of school (Action resume) Monday- Finish the biome mobile today! Students will have a popsicle stick mobile with all the ecology information on it to hang.

Homework: complete food web/food chain worksheet Wednesday- Go over the answers to the homework & the 4 Q's from reading. Comparison/contrast chart - food web, food chain, energy pyramid Thursday- Complete Interactive Food Web (google classroom) & begin designing a food web (use cut-outs). Friday- Finish food web cut-outs & take food web iAssignment Monday- Research biome (characteristics of biome in google classroom) & share information with partner to complete Venn Diagram.
